I gotta admit, this made me chuckle... but also angry because of it's extremist views against homosexuality and rock music... Yeppers, it could only come from an extremist christian site... In a book I have ("Everything You Think You Know Is Wrong") there is an essay on the Columbine incident and those kids were fans of techno. TECHNO...not goth rock. They said as much on their websites before the shootings. Reminds me of the kid who commited suicide and they blamed it on Ozzy Osbourne and Dungeons and Dragons. Marilyn Manson is a glam rocker along the lines of KISS and others. He shocks, dresses up and gets outrageous as part of his schtick as an entertainer. This is a witch-hunt. Censor him and were does it end? Let him offend Christianity and act like a bi-sexual. It is his (constitutional) right to do both.

Parents as a whole have to watch what their kids are doing. And raise them to know the difference between right and wrong and what is fake and what is real. I definately don't condoan (sp?) listening to Marilyn Manson, but if you don't like him don't listen to him or any other band that does similiar things. And make sure if you don't want your kids listening to the like....that they aren't. I am Christian, and I believe you have to teach your kids well to love and accept all people that you are no better than anyone else in this world, but there are choices to be made. And resposibility to be taken for your own actions not blaming someone else for all of your problems. I believe that as teenagers, young people are influenced easily, but it is the job of the parent to make sure that these children choose to do the right thing and live right by the laws of man and God. I also think you can't say all Christians would agree completely with this either. There are some hypocrites in every religion, group, etc. In short, you have to make your own choices that will best serve you and your family and your beliefs.
