Posts: 14 Group: BANNED Member #416 Joined: Jun 25 2007 Gender Female	I know exactly what you mean. some people claim it's a delicacy but umm nope I couldn't bring myself to eat it Oh that reminds me of the time me and the hubby went to a restaurant he wanted to try "escargo'" OMG they brought out these slimey little snails in individual little cups with butter and garlic mixed with them...I spit mine on my plate and the hubby said as he ate one. "Yep they taste just like they look"

I chewed it once (like rubber) then washed it down with wine and tried not to feel sick... they taste like chicken I had to do it as I gave my italian friend marmite and I said I would try some weird italian food! ( he hated it...) I got my revenge though as the next week I said would you like a twiglet they are really nice (he was not happy)
