This is very yummy and really easy and something my Mum made alot which she learned from a Phillipino friend (but it's actually Hawaiian apparently).

What you need:
Rice
Bannana
Pineapple
Processed Cheddar Cheese
Butter (or oil if you choose but butter tastes better)

Optionals are:
Celery
Carrot
Ham

Cook the rice as boiled rice, then put in a saucepan. Throw some butter in it, and add diced pieces of bannana, pineapple etc. Cook it on low until the other ingredients are cooked and make sure you turn the rice with a spatula so it doesn't burn. Take it off and serve. Add grated processed chaeddar on top.

I love rice.......but usually just eat it plain with butter, salt & pepper and on occasion in some type of soup. ''Hawaiian Rice'' sounds delicious...when I'm craving something different my aunt will make her special rice dish - ''Spotty Dog''. Which is rice, raisins and cinnamon and eaten with milk or cream. Its really good as a breakfast dish.
