Traveler Posts: 71 Group: Members Member #79 Joined: Aug 28 2006	I'm a beer drinker..."When I drink"..but ....for some reason my body can't tolerate ales..laguers...etc,..so I drink Milwaukees Best better known as "The Beast"...it's a domestic beer that has a low amount of preservatives..so it doesn't cause as big of a hangover... On occasion..the hubby and I break out the "Chambord and Champagne"mmmmm...very ...very smooth.....with a nice fire in the fire place...romantic music on...hehe...but yah gotta watch..it's very deceiving...it's a very potent drink......"Chambord"..for those of you who don't know what it is...is a "Raspberry liquer"...and mixed with champagne and a bit of ice...it's really...really good...hehe..El Bandito likes to float away on the bubbles..

Australia has some of the best Domestic Beers in the world and I have made it my goal to sample them all... Before I finish Uni. I also love a good Rum. Bundaberg Rum is an Australian Rum that is exquisitely well flavored and is generally what I drink when I am not in a beer mood. I have also been known to drink Absynthe from time to time, however it is quite difficult to get my hands on it but when its available I become more or less a vegetable for the few days I possess it.

A little bitter but when you are used to it its heavenly bliss. A little bit of Sugar or Salt. Or some Lemon and it is thee best thing I've ever drunk. Though its quite expensive here also. I usually get maybe 1 bottle in the entire year on my name day. And that will last a couple months in truth, it quite simply isn't something I'd like to get drunk on because of the potency. I don't much like stomach pumps lmao,
