The Goddess of Darkness & Desire

Before the universe was created, everything was in harmony, everything was in 'unity', there was a 'onness', and that onness was seprated with the creation of existance(universe). And that is the onness that many people strive to attain(enlighnment). But why sperate everything. Why should God seperate Himself. So that 'souls' etc cud learn? I think it wud be better if we just let go of 'why'. As time didn't exist back then, there was only that possible moment in which the universe cud have been created, so there's no question of 'why', there was no other option other then seperatness(creation of the universe) |

on the contrary...time has always existed. One of the great unanswerable questions of both physics and philosophy is that of time's "arrow". We know time exists, because events clearly happen in a set sequence, never to repeat or reverse. What happened an hour ago clearly happened in "the past"...so there is a progression through 'time'. Breaking it up into hours and days is our way of categorizing the phenomena. It is this inexplicable moving forward of time as one of the few irreversible natural progressions that stumps us. Why does a broken egg not get unbroken? Why does a setting sun not suddenly reverse and rise backward into the sky? Why did yesterday happen yesterday and not tomorrow? There is a rule somewhere governing this...we just don't know what it is or why. |

I agree kinda... but the concept of time is a human one.. how do we know that it is all happening in a prerequisite sequence.. how do we know its not all going on at the same time... (as it were) |

Yeah...actually, Einstein's relativity says that it IS all happening at once...and that it is our viewing angle that gives it structure. But why is it impossible to relive events twice or live them out of such exact sequences? That is the arrow...always forward (even on our own personal level.) So I guess there really is no way of knowing...but all viewpoints are valid. |

How about if it is all fragments.. like many parallel universes'.. maybe if the big bang happened it shattered like that too? I |

That is the bigger part of it. Relativity says, in principle (as does the hot new science fad of string theory) that every possibility in existence happens or is happening. Everything. Maybe you wore a different shirt...or rode a bike instead of jogged. Whatever it is, it is valid. It exists somewhere...and the way we move about decides which reality we will encounter. All of those possibilities exist in other dimensions...like time lines. It is all real somewhere. |
