Hi everyone. I just love airplanes,so here's a thread for the pix I've taken. These first ones are from an Airshow at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs about 6 months ago for the 50th Anniversary of NORAD. Guess which idiot didn't bring spare batteries? So I only got a couple. This is a CF-18A of the Canadian Armed Forces,marked in the beautiful tail art "Village de Quebec" for the 2008 Demo Team Season. I got to chat with a female-type Canadian Forces Jet Mechanic too!

This one isn't as sexay,but I like it: A C-130H of the Colorado Air Force Reserve. This plane is configured to fight forest fires by dropping slurry or water,and the unit stays very busy all over the West every Summer.

I'd love to fly michael,but I'll never pass the physical with my health. I miss the time I did though! I sure have,Gunner-ohh,all those Navy Jets-F-11F Tiger,the Vigi,the F-8C Crusader.................I love that place! I was there in '07 for the big airshow when Viper East demo'd the F-16............but I didn't have a camera then.

Sweet Goddess Posts: 661 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: May 24 2006	We always take the kids to airshows, up until recently my son was determined to join the RAAF now at almost 15 he has changed his mind and doesn't know what to do (nor does he have the grades to do much).
